The third quarter statistics came out from the Illinois Association of Realtors on "Condos Sold" in the Chicago Condo Market. In the third quater of 2008, 8,175 condos closed in the six counties of the Chicago Condo area. Integrating the statistics for the first two quarters, and expecting this to be the average for the fourth quarter, about 32,000 condos will close in the Chicago area for 2008. This is down about 18% from last year.

The flakes are falling outside the brand new offices of OwnACondo.com and we couldn't be happier! The National Weather Service is predicting three to five inches of white stuff by day's end, and while we don't hope for a slow rush hour or strained backs from shoveling, hey, it's winter in Chicagoland!
